Seeburger BIC module parameters

Hi ,

I am new to EDI and SEEBURGER AS2 adapter also.

We developed and successfully tested AS2 (EDI) to Idoc scenario . We used SEEBURGER BIC modules for converting EDI to EDI-XML format,  now I have small doubt regarding parameter Name used for each modules  .For example , we used following parameter Name(attID , destSourceMsg and showInAuditLog ) for module Classifier . What are possible parameters allowed for each module (CLASSIFIER , BIC and SPLIT) ? Could you please let me know, from where I can fetch data regarding parameter Name allowed for each module.

Hi Hari,

Clasifier will clasifies what kind of edi document that you want to send to PI.

For example : PO for edi 850.

BIC will call the convert mapping of EDI format to EDIXML format and vicecersa.

and the parameters follow what Srinivasan  R has written.

Below are some of the parameters.

Classifier - This module identifies the EDI standard(e.g. ANSIX12, EDIFACT etc) being used in the document.

•         destSourceMsg( Main Document/Attachment)

•         Attid ( Attachment id)

•         ShowlnAuditLog ( True / False)

•         ClassifierMappingID

Converter - This module converts the EDI documents into XML format and vice versa.

•         Mapping name( AUTO/Specific Name)

•         destSourceMsg( Main Document/See burger Main/Attachment ID)

•         destTargetMsg( Main Document/See burger Main/Attachment ID)

•         SaveSourceMsg (Where the Msg needs to be stored)

•         classifierAttID

•         SrcDelimeter(Subfield,field,decimal,quoting,fieldgroup,segment)

•         destDelimeter(Subfield,field,decimal,quoting,fieldgroup,segment)
