MAXDB upgrade on DMS server from 7.3.00.35

Hi

I have an assignment to upgrade the maxdb on our DMS Server.Please find the System details.

Content Server Version 6400 ,

OS windows 2003 server 32bit,

MAXDB     7.3.00.35

I have red all upgrade guides and it is saying that to upgrade to 7.8 target release should be 7.5,so we first decided to upgrade to 7.5,and i searched in the Market Place for the software but i can't able to find.

Can you please guide us whether is this currect way to upgrade to 7.5 first before 7.8 if any documents for the upgrade and location of the software in MP.

If i want to do hetrogenious system copy what is the proceduce..

Hi Mahipal,

please check

Note 962019 - System Copy of SAP MaxDB Content Server Database

on how to do a homogenous systemcopy for ContentServer.

This is not a real SAP System, so you have to copy it with database specific tools (LOADERCLI).

you have to upgrade to MaxBD 7.5 at least.

Hello Mahipal,

for me there is something visible. Please contact SAP to get access to the software. Maybe you do not have a license for this software ... or you are using the wron S-User.
