Hi,
Using IDT BO4 SP5 and we have a published universe using connection shortcut.
It has a default array fetch size parameter of 250 - would like to try tweaking this to set to 1000.
However when hit edit doesn't give option to change this parameter.
How can we do this?
Thanks
Hi Philip,
you have to navigate to the "repository resources" and open the connection from there, then you will have the "edit" tab available.
Best regards,
Victor

Hi Victor,
Thanks for advice.
Another question I have re connections you may be able to help with.
Our understanding is that connecions get established to database and if user hits cancel or somebody closes browser then the session doesn't die on the database.
Is there a way of esnuring database session die if user hits cancel or closes browser and what are implication of doing this?
We have situation where database get clogged with users initaiing queries then cancelling them at bo end ?
Thanks
Hi Philip,
I know that topic is not very new, it seems there have been some improvements though in BI4.0 SP04:
1727720 - Refresh action for Web Intelligence document in DHTML panel cannot be canceled and keeps on hanging
1787930 - In BI4 if you start to refresh or run a webi report in the Web viewer and click the cancel button it does not stop the report from running
But according to your current patch and the SBOP Forward Fit Plan, you do not have the improvements mentioned in the KBA's above.
Best regards,
Victor

Hi Ravi,
Reading the post menation join_by_ql parameter.
We have some documenst with multipe queries but each query only ever has one sql in it as we ensure multiple sql statments for each measure/context not selected.
Is the join_by_sql parameter only relevant for the latter sort of data providers?
Thanks
