Recipe mgmt. Specification replacement during Sync to BOM

Hi All

In Recipe development, we have custom Specification type (R&D) as Primary Output specification. All the ingredients used in Recipe are of Specification type REAL_SUB

Due to our business process we do not want to assign material to Specification type R&D. so this is creating hard stop while doing the Synchronization to BOM.

Our question is how we can replace the Specification of type R&D in Recipe development with Specification type REAL_SUB at the Synchronization to BOM option.

Our main objective is to restrict the Recipe only to R&D team until the Recipe is approved and corresponding Material master is created.

Hi Yasar,

If the main objective is to restrict the recipe only to R&D team till approval, it can be achieved using statuses and authorizations. Before approval, you can have an intermediate status to indicate that a material master has been created and linked to the specification.
