XI: Creating folder in Server

Hi friends,

I am new to XI and using Step by step screen shots I am handling a Scenario

related to FlatFile2FlatFile .

My doubt is ...

How to create the folder in the XI Server and give the Local path

Especially in creating Sender Communication channel in Integration Directory.

you need to create a file folder or use an exhisting folder in our XI server to palce the file and give the same path in File sender adapter. this you can do if working in XI server otherwise use FTP . or u can mount your local drive on XI server also.

Hi Satya,

go to the root directory where XI is installed in your XI server........create a source folder here for your source file eg TMP........

then in ID, in sender file adapter, give source directory as the complete path of your directory eg in windows machine it can be C:\TMP, in unix machine it can be /TMP

Hi,

If you are working XI physical server..

go to run give the
<xiservername\tmp directory that is the directory location you can give in your sender communcation channel name.
