PI and IBM 4690 OS

Hi to all

I would like help me in experiences with the integration between SAP PI and (Point of Sale) POS with the Operating System IBM 4690

We are starting project, and some people say me this integration has problems when I try create or read files in this Operating System.

Please help me in this doubt.

Can you please explain which type of file interface is going to create or read from IBM 4690? You can have a look into the below document:

It is about flat files I want to read/write  through PI. The customer tell me, that this operations can have problems with IBM 4690 OS.

Before going to start this project, you can perform a small Proof of concept. May be you will face issues and will be easier to address to those specifics. You can share your problems in this forum, so that we  can help you closely.
