Search help icon not shown for the Input field (for CATS Time recording time sheet – field WBS)

Hello All,

The Search help icon is not shown for the Input field for CATS time recording time sheet – field WBS.

However when we press F4 button for that input field, the search help is coming.

Technical Details:

Web Dynpro Component: HRESS_C_CATS

Component Controller Method: ON_OVS has be overwritten to  get custom F4 Help.

Web dynrpo application: HRESS_A_CATS_1

Web Dynpro Application Configuration: HRESS_AC_CATS_1

Web Dynpro Component Configuration: HRESS_CC_CATS_1

Attached the screen shot for reference.

Please suggest.

Hi Ravi

Closing the thread, the issue is caused when a support note was implemented by SAP for internet explorer 9.

Basis has solved it by implementing corresponding correction NOTE.

I too facing the similar problem , but in my case i could see the F4 but when i click on that no values are popped up. plz let me know if you have solved by any means.
