PI 7.3 dual and single stack benefits

Hello All,

I need some clarification on the below points.

From 7.3 version onwards we have the option of using SAP PI with dual stack or single stack(Java only).

Do we get the benefits of 7.3 only If we use single stack? If we use 7.3 with dual stack Is it behaves more or less like 7.11?

Please share your thoughts.
