Hi Experts

I am configuring the Charm functionality for PI system and I have created the project for that and under System Landscape Tab in change
management tab when I click on check button i get an error

“Client-specific transport control (CTC=1): No Import single method: No” in System Overview for Project for QAS & PRD system, DEV is fine.

While these
parameters are defined for all the managed systems DEV/QAS & PRD system.

Parameter –CTC = 1

Queue-Driven Transport  = Single

I find no issue for DEV system but I am facing issue with QAS & PRD.

I would like to explain you my scenario and landscape.

we have 3 system landscape for PI and 2 system Landscape for Solution manager.

DEV (001)-> QAS (001)-> PRD(001)

Where DEV is my domain controller for PI landscape.

SMD (001) -> SMP (001)

Where SMP is my domain controller for Solution Manager landscape.

I am configuring charm for PI system on SMD system.

I have created domain link between DEV (PI Domain Controller) & SMP (Solman Domain Controller)

I am attaching screen shot of Transport Route/system status in STMS/Logical Component & error message.

Looking for resolution for the reported issue.

Hi Kishore,

If I understand you correctly you are trying to change the parameter value to CTC=1 .

STMS  -> systems (menu) -> (Double click the required) system transport tool (third tab)

there you can change the parameter value or add.

Parameter is already changed in all the managed systems, but still i have getting this error.

Ok, Just check whether in the transport strategy group box is selected for single transport only.

1. Call transaction STMS.

2. Choose Overview -> Transport Routes.

3. Double-click each system.

4. The Display System Attributes dialog box appears.

5. In the Transport strategy group box, select Single transports

Hi Kishore,

Even I'm facing the same issue in PI landscape but other landscapes like SCM and BW are properly working.

Not sure, why we are facing this only for PI.

Did you get any solution for this, kindly update in this thread.

Hi Uday,

Please check the below settings for PI landscape.

1. Call transaction STMS.

2. Choose Overview -> Transport Routes.

3. Double-click each system.

4. The Display System Attributes dialog box appears.

5. In the Transport strategy group box, select Single
transports (since only Import Single and Import Project All
are used).

6. In the Quality assurance group box, deselect Delivery after
confirmation

I am getting same error while activating PI systems for ChaRM. Does anyone got to a resolution ?

Our solution manager is the domain controller for all PI systems. CTS is configured correctly for PI systems.
