RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS progress indicator?

Hello, we have an existing ERP604 box and were in process of installing a new language ...and in 1 of the latter steps related to SMLT -> Language -> Special Actions -> Import SP's......that step aborted w/ the error shown in Note 1812857.  The error text indicated to execute RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS again.  And the note mentions you need to trigger the action directly w/ that program and not through the SMLT menu.

First we updated the SPAM UPDATE as per that note....and then fired this step off again directly via program RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS (as a background job).  That job is running for hours and while running the job log gives no progress indication at all. 

Is there any way to tell the progress of this job, and to speed it up?

Hi Ben,

Please check in your SM21 and ST22 whether any logs are getting generated.

If not, try to stop the SAP system and try to update the kernel to the latest level and try to execute the report and see

as well as please chekc whether any oracle data overflow occurs.

Hi Ben,

Can you please check if the job RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS is really running or just hanging by checking the check status of the job in the SM37. Also check SM21 & St22 if there are any errors in the dump.

Also check if the update statistics are collected if it is running on the Oracle database.

You can check the job log,

Also check the under which wp job is runnning so you can check the dev_wp log for that job.
