Hi There,
We have an issue where while upgrading ST-PI 2008_1_700 from
SP04 to SP07 there were TP errors raised, but on choosing to continue, this
component was upgraded to SP 07.
Import logs report that import was successful but this is
not visible in ‘Installed software components’. It still reports that ST-PI
2008_1_700 is at SP 04
The 3 OCS packages (SP 05, 06 and 07) are sitting in Aborted
support packages location, though the logs report that this has been
successfully imported.
Please can someone advise if there are reports that can
update the system tables and fix this issue? Or do we need to raise OSS message for this issue?
Many thanks and regards,
Nisch
Hi Nisch,
Please check in the SPAM if any queue is in process and check the action log to know the status of the queue. Please check if the import of the support packages is successfully and the queue is confirmed in the SPAM.
Thank You.

Deepika

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for your replies, the only error that was

error. You can then execute the command again.
"
But after this was run again it was imported successfully, please find action logs below:
But this has not updated current system installed components.
Thanks and regards,
Nisch
Hi Nisch,
From the action log attached above I could not find any information about the queue being imported in the system. Only check_requirements phase information is available but I am not able to find the main import logs or epilogue phase after which the queue will be confirmed. And also check if the queue is imported in the system in the standard mode or test import mode is selected from the SPAM settings.
Can you please check in the trans directory if the following logs are available
SAPHITLRD7 - DDIC Import Log
SAPAITLRD7 - DDIC Activation log
SAPIITLRD7 - Main Import
SAPRITLRD7 - Xpra_execution
Thank You.

Hi,
Do you face any issues while doing regular transports? Are you doing this in the DEV sys. To me, the issue seems to be leaning more towards the kernel and the patch level. Could you check for any SPAM updates? if so, update SPAM and then proceed with your ST-PI. Lastly check for any R3trans or tp updates.

Hi,
Pls check the action log in SPAM for any clues (Goto -> Action log) . Check if you are able to reset the queue and import the rest of the packages one after the other.

If you are seeing the queue aborted, the import clearly failed at some phase. Check the phase of your import, queue status and the import logs of the queue to see what went wrong
