Hi,
When I use the logoff button to exit the ITSM screen (CRM_UI), it displayed the SAP Support Portal screen. I followed the instruction in SAP Note 1644898 and delete the value http://service.sap.com in the "Logoff URL". When I tested again, instead of just closing the screen, it showed the SAP website http://www.sap.com/index.epx. I also tried selecting the checkbox "Enforced logoff" and "End session immediately" but it still going to the SAP website.
Any idea how I can just close the ITSM screen using the logoff button without calling the SAP website?
Thanks,
Tess

Hi.
Thanks for your reply.
If I wanted to just close off the screen without going to another screen, what do I need to enter in the Logoff URL field? I previously tried to leave it blank but when I tested, it goes to www.sap.com.
Regards,
Tess
Hi Teresita,
Pls explore the below fields in DEFAULT_SOLMANPRO profile. I have not tested them myself, but you are welcome to share your results.
If that does not work for you, I am afraid that, you might have to use the "X" {close} option on the internet explorer/firefox to close your screen. *pun intended*
Best Regards,
Vivek
Thanks for your reply Vivek.
I already tested using those fields/checkboxes and the result is the same - it still shows the www.sap.com website when I choose the "Logoff" button.
Hi Tess
What we do is redirect the end-user to the logon page after the log off.
Example:
http://aa1host.domain.com:<ICM http port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.html?sap-client=100&sap-sessioncmd=open
Users that don't want to be redirected back will simply close the browser window in my opinion.
Best regards
Tom
Hi Tess,
I completely agree with Tom. User should have 2 options once they click 'logoff' in CRM UI
1) View the webpage maintained by administrator in DEFAULT_SOLMANPRO profile.
2) If they do not want to view the webpage; then close the browser.
As simple as that ! Making the system to decide on, whether to automatically close the webpages depending on the user logged in, is too much Artificial Intelligence for solman as of now.
Best Regards,
Vivek
