Dear All,
We are doing oracle upgrade from 10.2 to 11.2 on windows and its on windows cluster (high availability)
Our Oracle fail safe version is 3.4.1.0
My question is do we have to upgrade oracle fail safe too? or 3.4.1 is fine?
As we have limited down time and we want to avoid any complications please lets us know do we have to upgrade OFS or we can skip it
Thanks
Tabrayz
Hi Tabrayz,

It is recommended to upgrade OFS 3.4.2

Technically, you can upgrade it later. But, I experienced with adding <SID>.WORLD into the cluster resources even the service exist on only one node. I am not sure that you will face with the same problem.
To be safe side, it is recommended to upgrade OFS to 3.4.2
