Linking Promotion to price groups

Hello gurus

the client wants the the promotions to be linked to price groups how can this be configured. And what will be the table to extract the  promotions based on the price group is there an existing table or do we need to create a  Z table.

Hi Zahid,

Your requirement is not very clear. You have to explain us how your business is treating promotions? Is it free goods or any other way they are doing it?

What the relationship they want to establish between price group and promotions?

hello Sai,

the client links a number of promotion to a particular price group. Based on this price group the user can select Promotions linked to it  and  the user can give specials types of discounts governed by a discount condition types . the promotions act as activation factor for these special types of discounts condition types

There is no direct linkages for Pice group to Promotion in standard SAP.

You write a customized report to find out the sales promotion linked with the Sales group, hope you have some condition where you are using the price group in discounts.

Sales deals can be connected to Pricing condition records, and sales deals can be connected to promotions.

Dear Zahid,

Yes, you cant have direct relationship. You may have to think of going for report. The user can make use of the report and act accordingly for the promotion related activities.
