Hi,

- Example of RVAB02 PP from IDES

rasied by Vaishnavi Tangirala

Hi

Can anyone give me an example of how RVAB02 PP works from IDES? I want an example how accounting entries look like for Sales price inclusive of tax.

I have a problem now that tax code is not getting copied to the Revenue line in accounting doc since iam calculating tax on gross price and not on price after tax.

I will be very grateful for any help regarding this.

Thanks,

Vaishnavi

May I know how was this issue resolved? I am encountering the same problem now.

Thanks,

Leng

WL,

I have gone through this pricing procedure in IDES, basically (as you know) the condition types (not all, but few condition types in this procedure) with Account keys shall find the respective G/L accounts (ofcourse dependent upon the Account determination configuration setup).

Also the condition types marked as Statistical shall not feature in the accounting document.

A good way would be to do some tests in IDES -

Create the sales cycle (sales order > delivery > billing document) with this pricing procedure.

Also check the accounting entries.

Thanks T W.. This issue has been resolved. It was due to an error in the pricing procedure config.

WL,

Could you please explain in detail (with a screenshot of the pricing procedure) the error? And how you resolved it?

It might help the forum members.

The error came about because of incorrect customizing of FROM-TO steps maintained on tax condition MWST, resulting in the Price condition type not being included during the tax code transfer.
