xml is failing with error Lanes not found in SNC PO collaboration

Hello all,

We are ciffing the contracts so transportation lane is created from contracts. Now contracts are valid till 30.06.2013. Due to this Transportation lane also are valid till 30.06.2013.

Client is creating PO today but due to planned delivery time for eg 90 days, the PO delivery date is lying outside of contract/Transportation lane validity period.

The PO is not going through SNC and is not visible as xml is getting failed.

How to take care of this. Should we switch off validations? If yes then what could be the issue?

Which validations we need to make inactive?

Hi Vaibhav Virkud,

Experts have already given a direction. 

Here are my 2 cents:

You should actually ask business to extend the contract data , CIF over and then re-process the XML.

The idea is not bend the system to work but to keep the process intact and simple.

Think and project the impact to Business of doing such config to allow POs created even if the Contract expired, It has business implication.

You can try any of below possible ways:

1)

Path:SPRO>>>Supply Network Collaboration>>>Basic Settings>>>Validation>>>Own Settings>>>Maintain Settings in Validation Profiles

Profile:POC1
Validation check:PO_LANE_MISSING

Check Status:Inactive

2) Mass update in ECC

Tocde:MASSD

Select Object type:Purchase info record

& update validity of info-record

3)Create transportation lane with All product with validity 31.12.9999

Try deactivating the following Validation Checks for the Val. Profile - POC1:

1. PO_LANE_MISSING

2. PO_TTYPE_ASSIGN

3. PO_TTYPE_INVALID

Hi all,

We have added source list tick in material master for materials so that source list will have contracts and whenever user tries to create PO with delivery date outside the contract/TL validity date system will issue error message.
