when we will archive event handlers and event messages What will be the data  included in an event handler, all the information related to the shipment (e.g. vendor, customer, consignee etc. for an FO)??

What exactly will be included in an event messages? Date, time, location? when it will be archived.

Also during the archival process, will the event information also be archived.

Can we access the data what is archived.

Hello Dipak,

there are two archiving objects:

SAPTRX_EH -> for archiving Event Handlers

SAPTRX_EVM -> for archiving Event Messages

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_em900/helpdata/en/3d/37312b173b40999b0513ad6e8e3e49/frameset.htm

All EH and EVM tables will be archived including extension tables.

You can display archived data in the standard Webdynpro UI.

For that you need several configuration settings:

SPRO

->Event Management

->Archive and Delete SAP Event Management Objects

->Query and Display Archived Data

explains the concept.

If you have access to the RKT material in Service Marketplace there is also a step by step description for a scenario.

The time when you want to archive you have to define according to your business scenario.

Best regards,

Steffen

Yes all info is archived with these two archiving objects. You can check all tables that will be archived in transaction AOBJ (+ your extension tables that will be evaluated danymically based on the EM customizing).

Best regards,

Steffen
