KP97 Error-Cost Element 750050 not created in company code 2020

Hi,

We are trying to copy plan version 999 to version 0, received error message saying that “Cost Element 750050 not created in company code 2020”, we did not encounter this problem when we copied version 999 to version P01. Wondering why SAP does validations only when a plan is copied to version 0. Any information is helpful

Hi Manoj,

KP97 uses the functional module K_VERSN_READ.

Check the authorization object K_KA09_KVS for the versions.

  The system only checks activity  (planning) for this object - regardless of whether you call up a display or a change transaction.

Hi Manoj ,

Just wondering if fiscal year settings have been made active for the version 0.

check the fiscal year settings in OKEQ t code for that particular controlling area.

Check if that cost element is there in CO - KA03.

Also, check if the planning was done this element earlier.
