TREX http server not available

Former Member

Hi,

After installation (by using SAP Guide) of TREX 6.1.26.00 for using with SAP EP we don't have http service availibility.

We have set up all permission like described in SAP Note 499372 .

The URL:

http://<hostname>:<Port>/TREXHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING

is working without errors. We have got the following message in browser:

OK Server Connection 1.001

In TREXNameServerAlert.trc we have the following entries:

Hi,

but we have installed a TREX 32-Bit version on a Windows 2003 32-Bit operating system running. So I think we can not use the resolution of SAP note 1008299.

Hello Sabine,

what's the status of the TREXWebServer in the TREXAdmin tool? Is the SP 1 for Windows installed on the server? Please also check if the URL for WebServer is set in the TREXWebServer.ini file.

Hi,

the TREXWebServer has status red in TREXAdmin tool. We have installed SP1 for Windows on the server. In TREXWebServer.ini I can finds the following entry:

[HTTPSERVER]

URL=http://FRCES3005:30705/TREXHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll

certfile=

FRCES3005 = Hostname of TREX Server with Instance 07

Hi Sabine,

could you please open a OSS message and put this on the BC-TRX. Please also provide remote connection on the TREX server.

Best regards,

Mikhail

Now we have installed the TREX again but we get again a red Http Server. Now I can find the following entries in

Where can I increase the trace level to get more information?

Do I have to modify some property files to get a green Http TrexServer?

We have found out the reason of the error. Our group policies are very strong and so the IUSR_ doesn't have got any rights because the user was in group "Guests". Now we have moved that user into group "Users" and restarted the TREX.

Thanks a lot for help to all.
