SNP Order dates calculation

Dear Gurus,

I need to know how are the production order dates calculated in the SNP, I put a planned order in the key figure Production(Planned) and the system calcualtes the start date with different behaviour, sometimes in same finish date, sometimes 1 or 2 days before, depends on product, without considereing the PDS, and the starnge thing is that whatever the quantity is, the dates are the same.

Any ideas about this behaviour ????

Regards,

MaX

Hi MaX,

SNP uses backward scheduling to plan. If the start date falls in the past, it will use forward scheduling. If the dates are not changed with quantity, you need to verify the run rates maintained in the PDS-S (t.code /sapapo/curto_simu) i.e. variable capacity requirement. At our end, I found that standard PDS-S generation results in fixed capacity requirement that heavily depends on the lot size (I did not verify it in the standard APO). We changed it in ECC using t.code PDS_MAINT and transferred the changes to APO using t.code CURTO_CREATE.

Thanks,
Rajesh
