QM setting for stock transfer order through mvt-351

Dear Expert,

My scenario is as follows:-

1. QM view activated & assign inspection type -01 for receiving plant (Y) (MM50 & MM02)

2. Maintained inspection plan (QP01)

2. Creation of purchase order (ME21N) UB-Stk trans order plant  for one plant (X) to another plant (Y) ,item category -U (stock transfer)

3. Creation of goods issue against purchase order - movement type-351

4. Do the MIGO against purchase order - movement type - 101

at time of MIGO against purchase order ,stock type is showing unrestricted type but it should show quality inspection stock.

now tell me what is the exact problem or is there any thing i am missing above.

Hi,  In purchasing view of material master in receiving plant activate post to inspection stock check box and try again.. Regards Satish

Logically Inspection type should be active in receing plant.Check the same.

already activated in reciving plant.

My seetings are as follows:-

i have checked all the material master setting & it is fine from my side.

1. MM02 - assigned inspection type 01 & 08 in receiving plant

2. Maintain inspection plan

3. Creation of P.O against "Stock transfer Order" for receiving plant.

4. MB1B  - movement type-351

5. MIGO against stock transfer order P.O

Now after MIGO stock type is showing unrestricted , but it should reflect quality inspection stock.

one more thing when i do MIGO , material goes to QA32 , but when i see the material document for thta P.O stock type is showing quality stock.

kindly tell me where i am wrong.

1. Assign inspection type 08 in receiving plant.

2. Make P.O

3. Do good issue by 351.

4. DO Migo, you  will get a lot .

Dear Kaushik,

while extending QM view in the material master, you have assigned inspection type : 01 (01 is meant for goods receipt) but your case in stock transfer for that you need to activate inspection type : 08 (08 for stock transfer) then proceed the step as before, definitely you will get a inspection lot.

note : while doing MIGO transaction stock type will be automatically changed to Quality inspection.

Please active the inspection for that goods moment in SPRO for receiving plant.

SPRO->Quality Management -> Quality Inspection ->Inspection Lot Creation ->Inspection for Goods Movement.

Recheck the activity.
