How to use OpenLDAP?

Hi,

I'm trying to use OpenLDAP as Userstore for my EP60SP9.

The Test-Connection to the OpenLDAP server in "System configuration" of the portal works. But I can't choose any groups for "User path" and "Group path". The browsing windows says: "LDAP error 32: No such object".

Which objects does the Portal expects for browsing? I've created this hierarchy in the OpenLDAP:

root        (dc)
|- company  (organization)
  |- city1  (organziationalUnit)
  |- city2  (organizationalUnit)

the OpenLDAP server logs this while browsing:

looks like, it's looking for an object like <i>domain</i>... ?

this is an older post, however I would be happy to get to know if you managed to use the OpenLDAP with the EP.

Which LDAP-configuraton file did you use?

Hi Thomas,

What exactly your problem?

Do you want to configure EP with LDAP?

For that you have to change the data source at UME configuration and you have to provide logon details of your LDAp server at LDAP server tab.
