How to apply custom web application style or HTML style to bespoke Webdynpro Application?

Hi,

Our company uses a lot of web applications designed inhouse for non SAP systems which are commonly accessed by our employees. Now we are developing some bespoke Webdynpro ABAP applications for SAP process and would like to have the same look and feel with other web applications we have so that there is the same look and feel for all UK based apps.

Any idea how to change the look and feel of webdynpro applications to look similar to other web applications that sits outside SAP but accessed via a common Corporate Portal?

Thanks in advance

Hi ,

You can use custom themes  in webydnpro abap , to make  a different look and feel.

Check the below links for custom themes.

Thanks Aravindan. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Just from Curiosity Is there any other way at all or is this the only way possible? And more over any idea how much flexibility can we achieve by doing this, does it allow to have the same HTML look and feel like other web applications?

hi,

I think it has to ..  it depends on your custom theme...

Thanks again. One more question. When we follow the steps to apply custom themes does this need to be done for each individual web dynrpo application or could it be done centrally whcih applies to all webdynpro applications?

Hi,

The custom theme can be used commonly for all applications, But in the url we have to mention the custom theme name ..
