Hi Experts

As we have functionality of QM Lot Clearance to put Followup Action Email but it goes to Single User Id , here we required multiple ids.

so that we can send it to multiple user ids that whether Lot is Clear or Reject

Hi Pankaj,

You need to co-ordinate with your ABAPer. Please tell him to create new function module in which one table is maintained. In this table, you can enter number of user id for which mail should fire.

assign this followup action to your requirement.

You should be able to create a distribution list and have the email sent to the distribution list.  You should talk to your email specialist or BASIS person about setting up a distribution list in whatever mail system you are using.  Than have you follow-up program set up to use the distribution list instead of a use ID.

Hello Pankaj,

Maintain a DL and assign that DL name to the recipients list to send mail to all users in DL.

if not check with Basis if multiple Email ID can be put or if follow up action can be triggered several times using different email ID

Hi Sahil  & FF

If we will Maintain DL than always email goes to DL , but the Codition is depends on lot it should Go to selected user which we will select at the time of Clearance.

Secondly i have created the DL but how to assign the same DL to User ID.

I'm not clear if you want to actually pick who the lot should go to or if this can be determined.

For instance, I believe you can associate specific buyers to certain products in purchasing.  Than your follow-up can use that person to make the mailing to.

If you have limited people to send it to, (say less than 10-20), you can create a UD code for each person which is selected by the user.  The follow-up action sends the email based on the UD code selected then.  (I'd maintain the relationship between code and user in a Z-table for ease of maintenance).   You might then require the mailed person to than use QA12 to go in and change the UD code to the actual pass/fail UD code needed.

You could assign a Qualitative MIC to every lot as the last characteristic.  The person doing results recording would select the person to email from the catalog selections you maintain.  The follow-up action uses the catalog selection for the MIC to determine who to mail to or what DL to use.
