Hello,

maybe a silly question:

Do you have a Content Server installed?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for quick reply.

Yes I have checked that Content Server is installed in the External Repository and the details like Application IP/Port are also correct.

I am not sure why I am getting BSP error when I call transaction CSADMIN and input UserId and Pwd.

Hello,

did you try to run testreport RSCMST for this repository?

What does the report say?

Please post the entry in transaction OAC0 for your repository.

I dont know what does this Report does?

Can you please clarify...

Hello,

this report tests the connection from/to Content Server.

Tries to communicate with the repository.

Tries to store data in the repository.

Tries to read data from the repository.

It gives detailed traces about the errors occurring.

Perhaps it helps a little to find the cause of the error.

You could also do a test with an other repository to check if the Content Server is working at all.

Ok will look into it.

But right now.. even the Test connection is not successful from OAC0 transaction.

So it wont be able to commnuicate or store or read data.

The issue was while logging into CSADMIN where I got the BSP Error

Hello,

it is just a try.

Can you provide us the full entry of the OAC0 transaction?

Hi Suruchi,

Perform following checks

1) Check using the url

http://<HOSTNAME>:<Port>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

Whether content server is running. If not start it using

My computer Right click -> Manage -> IIS -> Web applications -> SAP Content server

     Right click and start.

2) Check whether MaxDB database is running . You may use dbmgui or database studio to connect to the MAxdb database.

Hope this helps.
