Hi ,
First of all find out tables to be archived on two bases -
1.Which one having maximum space occupied OR
2.Which one is growing considerably faster
During Process /Production order archival ...mainly CNF & TECO status are mandatory for Order.Means it has got dependency with 'Controlling '.Until & unless order settlement doesn't happen , (i.e.order balance 'zero'), archival is not possible.
During inspection lot archival, UD is important stuff & should be completed.
For getting relevant tables -
If you go to t-code SARA - give object to be archived e.g. PR_ORDER -Enter
Click on the 'Database tables' which will result into list of relevant tables for PR_ORDER.
Pls. revert if useful.

Milind
