Consolidated Email notification of error messages in PI

Hello All,

Below is the requirement from my customer:

We have a UDF present in message mapping which creates a customized error message in the error tag of SXMB MONI.

Now customer wants to receive Email notifications of these customized error messages on a particular email ID everyday.

PI needs to send consolidated Error email notifications at EOD.

Please help us how to achienve this requirement.

Hi Moorthy,

you have several possibilities:

- Alert Framework: You create a condition for the receiver. In case of existing error message no receiver -> alert to inbox and mail receiver. Disadvantage: no direct view of the message, only via automatically created link to RTW.

- BPM: You fill a single type container with the error part and use it in a control step (alerting) as variable. Disadvantage: Use of BPM for such a small reason

- Two receivers: You create two receiver, one as before, one mail receiver. Mail receiver with condition on the errror message. Disadvantage: Does not work for synchronous messages.
