PICKING IN DELIVERY

hello every one

i have a query,

can i do the partial PICKING in delivery?

suppose i have a delivery qty 10no and i want to do the picking for 5 number only or 0 and post GI for this delivery can i do that?

i have got the relevance that in PICKING process which comes from when you go to VL02n and double click on picking against line item it will take you to PROCESS tab of PICKING there is one FIELD <b>CONFORMATION</b>, there it state that "C" which is full picking conf/req

if i can change that, then can i able to do partial picking

if YES

then please let me know how to change that field, as that feild is GREY

please help me to resolve

hello gaurav

i think if the picking field is in grey mode that means Warehousemangment is active the u need to do transferorder,because manual picking is not allowed..hope i answered u correctly

Hi

yes you can do partial picking in delivery.

Suppose you want to pick 5 number out of 10 you can do it.

1. Go to picking and give picking quantity as 5

2.follow the path

from menu bar ..Go to-item-picking.

Change delivery quantity as 5.

If you do above 2 steps you can do PGI.

no i do not want to change the quantity in delivery i only want to change the quantity in picking

so that i can use that delivery later on for rest of the quantity

Hi Gaurav.,

I think so it is not possible wat is th need in doing that

U can tick partial deliveries icon in customer and do partial picking and delivery
