Hi All,

I am very new cluster environment. I have a requirment to change profile parameter of our ECC system.

Our ECC system in Cluster environment. Please help me the steps to change the profile parameters.

I can see the following profiles.

PRD_DVEBMGS15_SAPPRDA

PRD_D16_SAPPRDB

START_D16_SAPPRDB

START_DVEBMGS15_SAPPRDA

I want to add the following parameter as suggested by SAP

abap/buffer_fragments = 1

Do I need to change in both instance profile and take restart or if do it in one will it get sync with other.

Hi Ponnu,

PRD_DVEBMGS15_SAPPRDA is DBCI Server profile and PRD_D16_SAPPRDB is app server profile.

You can add parameter in both above profiles only.

Hi Ponnusamy,

PRD_DVEBMGS15_SAPPRDA is your instance profile in the primary server

PRD_D16_SAPPRDB is you instance profile of the application server

you can add it in both the instance profile it is not harmful.

anyways you need to restart SAP on both the servers.
