Repository is not working after restarting the Content server

Hi,

1)  we have installed content server and used for some period. Document have been check in the documents to CS successfully. But when this CS is restarted by basis guy we are unable to check in.I checked the CS and it was UP

Is there any setting to activate the repository?

2) I have created another repository on the same content server and tried to check in the document. In this case we are able to check in the documents.

then why the first repository is giving the error of check in and storing?

Hi Atul,

When you restart the content server system there are 2 things you should check,

1) Check whether MaxDB database is running. If not start it

2) In CSADMIN check whether Repository has running status. If not start is using the "open lock" symbol.

Yes Deepak Kori is right.. Go to OAC0 and check whether the status of the repository and server are both "running"..

If it is "defined" you should set to status to "running" again..
