Inspection lot origin & Movement type

Dear All,

During good receipt (MIGO - 101 type movement) - we can generate 01 type inspection lot.

During good receipt from process order (MIGO or MB 31 - 101 type movement ) - we can generate 04 type inspection lot.

   - So what is the logic for two different type of inspection lot for one type of movement i.e 101.

Can we use same logic to generate two type of inspection lot for 602 movement type as per business requirement.

Hi,

It is depend of Movement indicator like,

	Goods movement w/o reference
B	Goods movement for purchase order
F	Goods movement for production order
L	Goods movement for delivery note
K	Goods movement for kanban requirement (WM - internal only)
O	Subsequent adjustment of "material-provided" consumption
W	Subsequent adjustment of proportion/product unit material

This indicator is necessary, for example, to enable a distinction to be made between a goods receipt for a purchase order and a goods receipt for a production order. These two goods movements result in different data and account updates in the system.

The movement indicator is derived from the transaction code.

Hi,

We are maintained Inspection types 01,04,03,02,10 in material master for differnt purposes.

Depend on uses u can maintained inspection type.

01	Goods Receipt Insp. for Purchase Order

03	In-process insp. for production order
04	Goods receipt inspection from production
06	Inspection for returns from customer
08	Stock transfer inspection

09	Recurring inspection of batches
10	Insp. for delivery to cust. (w/ order)
15	Inspection of physical samples
89	Other inspection

Its "movment indicator" whether its

B   Goods movement for purchase order

or

F   Goods movement for production order

will decide the creation of which inspection type of mvt 101 is to be picked.
