Third Party Process with statistical GR and statistical GI for Products and Services

Dear All,

There is a business requirement for Third Party Process.

1. A sales order is created for GOODS and SERVICES.

2. When Sales Order is saved, PR auto-generates for GOODS and SERVICES line items.

3. A PO is created with reference to PR.

4. With reference to PO, a Goods Receipt is posted for GOODS and SERVICES line items.

Important:

As, Vendor is directly supplying to Customer, and no Goods/ Services, is being coming to Organization, at the time of GR, No inventory update must happen. This will be statistical GR posting for GOODS and SERVICES.

The only purpose of GR is to capture the cost of GOODS and SERVCIES, so that organization need no to wait for Vendor Invoice, to bill their customer.

5. After GR, a delivery document will be created for GOODS line item, from Sales Order. There must not be any inventory movement, as it's only Statistical GI. Actual GOODS are delivered by Vendor.

Services item may or may not required to be delivered from Sales Order. Services are delivered only when, they are tied-up with GOODS. If, there is a delivery for SERVICES, there must not be any inventory movement, as it's only Statistical GI. Actual SERVICES are delivered by Vendor.

if Services, are not tied up with GOODS, in Sales Order, Services will be billed directly from Sales Order.

Constraints:

As, at the time of sales order creation, business does not know, whether a GI will be required for SERVCIES, or not, so business wants only one item category for Services, with which, either a Delivery will be created, or may not be.

The requirement is, even if Service items are not delivered, Upon Invoice creation, Sales Order satus must be completed.

I need configuration related information for following points:

1. What configuration is required in Item Category and Schedule Line Category for Goods and Services items?

2. What configuration is requiredin order to post statistical GR for Goods and Services? is it required to configure with Movement Types?

3. What configuration is required to post Statistical PGI in Delivery for Goods and Services?

4. What configuration is required, even if, a Sales Order item is not delivered and PGIed, and directly billed from Sales Order, the Sales Order Status must be completed?

I have never heard of statistical GR and GI, so I also would like to know if there is a solution to this.

BTW, check out the Individual PO process.  But in that process, there are real material doc and accounting doc when GR and GI.
