Good afternoon, colleagues.

When a remote client copy process stopped at 75%.

SM 50:

22572 On Hold RFC Yes 22164 SAPLSSXP 000 DDIC

31608 Waiting Yes 1

19194 80992 Running Yes SAPLSCCR 210 1300R47 Delete MARC

that in the process of running from DDIC

The process of hanging, because of the deadlock table MARC

lockout lifted up is not going on, what could be wrong?

Hi,

I suggest yot to run transaction SCC5 to delete target client before running SCC9 to do a remote client copy.

In my experiense is also better to do a client copy with transport request...

Few hours, and it depends on the performance of the server.

Considering parallelism and powerfuls cpus I would say 5hours and double if the client already exist in the target

If you would like to delete client, you can delete large tables as mentioned in note 365304 to get better performance.

Thanks.

Hi Evgeniy,

Could you check the progress on "DELETE MARC" using the select count(*) statement to get number of entries. This will help you understand whether its hanged or its really deleting entries from MARC table.

Hope this helps.
