WBS Date validation

Dear All,

When I create a WBS element I enter the start and finish date. Also I created a child WBS element. But it is taking the finish date greater than the main WBS element date. Do we have any validations that can be configured to check the dates.

Hi Felix,

Which dates are you mentioning ? Is it the Basic start and finish date that you have entered in the top WBS element and then you are giving duration to the child WBS, which goes beyond the period that you have entered in the superior WBS element ? What is the scheduling method that you are using ?

Hi Bala

Yes it is the basic start and finish date in both the WBS. Scheduling method is true only in network. The scheduling is backward.
