Not Able to see Points

Hi Friends,

A problem I am facing .

If I open ABAP Forum in SCN from Mobile ,then I am able to see my points/rank .

But If I log in to my account from mozila/google chorme in my desktop, I am not able to see my points or rank.

Screen looking like my screen shots & status is Loading points .

What is the possible reason ? Is there any issue related to my User id or any web browser problem or SCN webpage maintenance problem?

Hi ,

Yesterday evening(indian time) Point was displaying,

But today morning Point is not showing,

So sometimes point is showing,some times not.

I am attaching The network tab's screenshot with RED MARK.

For your information,I am using my company's Desktop ,it is under One central server,where Facebook,twitter & many website is blocked under sonic wall proxy.

If I open same webpage from other friends laptop & home desktop,point is showing.

Kindly check & give me your Input ,how to solve it.

Hi Gurav,

Because it works for all other members an your company is blocking access to social media sites, I can only assume that our Gamification backend is getting blocked too.

Hi Oliver,

So Due to that gamification component's & social networking blocking reason,I will not able to see point from my company's desktop . . But I will able to see points from other PC.  It is the conclusion ?

I think the issue is more complicated then that. For me, it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. At 9:36 AM PST it didn't work and now at 10:21 AM PST it does. When it doesn't work I get a Connection Refused rather then blocked by proxy which I would get if I was to access, say Facebook. When it doesn't work, it might last from seconds to several minutes. I do not think it is a network issue at my end. I do know that any access from my desktop to the Internet gets NAT'd meaning, all the client connections coming from my company's network to Bunchball appear to come from the same IP address. I know that at my company there are many people accessing SCN concurrently. That said I think Bunchball might be running somekind of DoS, IPS or bandwidth/resource limiting mechanism that doesn't work too well for people behind NATs and proxies.

Aleast you guys are able to see some times but i'm not able to see my points since 15days.

Again I am facing same problem.

My internet is Not slow.

Is there any Problem related SCN ?

MY points is not visible with login or with out login.

Hi Gourav,

can you please post a screenshot of your profile page, incl. header and address bar? Also which browser do you use? Do you see any JavaScript errors?

I marked all red lines.

What is happening I already told.

I am using Mozila & google chrome.

I am in SCN from last 1.6 year.

From last few days I am not able to see points & badge.

But on 4th may, I am able to see points & badge.

But again It is happening.

I think there is no javascript error.

From other's Laptop or from my mobile I am able to see points.

Your input please.

Hi Gourav,

this looks to me like the requests to the Gamification backend get blocked, maybe by some corporate proxy. When using Chrome, please do a network trace when opening the page in question. Here is the documentation for how to do this: https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/network.

You should be able to see some failed requests, which indicate a problem with your network connection. In that case please provide an export of the trace (right mouse button) in the HAR format.

I am not able not able to understand what is that,

Open the Developer Tools in Chrome. Check the Network tab when loading the page. It will contain each single network request to fetch all page resources. Some should show as failed with some error code. There are the ones I'm interested in.

I was busy with some development,That's why I have not done anything.

But Though I have not done anything my points is showing properly again.

I am keeping this thread open for 1 days.

If Everything will be fine,then I will close this thread on tomorrow.

If I will face problem again, will first try to follow your steps.

Otherwise I will revert back.

Hi Kumar Gourav Malik,

There is an easy way to see your points, history, mission etc.

1.click on your profile

2. Go to reputation tab and select the options as highlighted below

Hi Gourav,

Its because of display settings i hope. are you getting same visibility for all web pages?

If yes. please change your display resolution to normal.

Hi,

From 2011 to 25th or 26th april in 2013,I was able to see my points in same web browser ( mozila /google chorme ).

But from last few days I am not able see points.

Hi Gourav,

Is it happening only in Mozilla/Chorme.? was it working fine in Explorer? Change your display setting and try again.

Also try in other network connections. well it will work fine.

Hi,

With out logon also, I Am not able to see points.

Strange thing is if I see from any other's laptop ,I Can see points.

But from any desktop within Our server,I am not able to see Points from last few days.

I Think ,there is problem related to Our server & it's web browser.

DO not know what is the remedies.
