Hi,
The expense report general data screen allows us to attach documents but the file name is not shown instead the document type is shown on the list of attachments. Also the Added by column is empty.
Anybody knows fix for this? appreciate your help.

Karthik Can you show us the screen hsot for AL 11 and File Transaction. Check if the Physical paths are created correctly.

I just tested this in our system. We are on EHP6 too. I can't reproduce this issue.
What exact system components do you run? We are on ECC 6.06 with Basis 731 Stack Level 6, SAP_HR 604 Stacks on Level 56 and EA-HR 607 (HR-Renewal 1) Stack Level 7.

We enabled the attchment but we never faced this issue. Document name and Add By both appears for us.
