Dear Experts,
I am working File to SFTP With out ESR scenario. where i need place the same in the target SFTP directory.
I tried to use ASMA .
But it's not working when i use ASMA parameters.
When i remove ASMA option and put some name in the SFTP receiver channel config then interface is working but . Please f ind comm channel screen shots for more reference.please find the attached screen shots for more reference.

Hi Pavan,
Select the AdapterSpecific Message-Attributes->Use AdapterSpecific Message-Attributes option. Enter the http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File as the namespace value and FileName as the Filename attribute. In the processing tab uncheck the store attachments option. Also make sure that you check the FileName in the Sender CC's adapter specific Message attributes.

ASMA helpful to capture the sender attributes File name,Directory,Times stamp etc, during run time and modify them if we like according to our requirement.
i think To use ASMA we should define ESR. because if you configure interface without ESR, you just want the I/P as O/P. you cant process, mapping.
so you cant do anything with your file content.

Thank you very much for your help.issue got resolved. i used namespace as you said http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File. it worked.
