no permission to view data via Open SQL data browser

Hi,

I'd like to view table data via Open SQL data browser in NWA 7.3 EhP1. But no matter what roles or groups I have, I always get the error message: Benutzer ist nicht berechtigt, die Tabelle ..... zu lesen (user is not allowed to read table ....). What needs to be done to have the necessary privileges?

In 7.2 it was possible to enter any SQL-Query to be executed. I don't see this option in 7.3 anymore. Doesn't this exist anymore or is this a permission issue as well?

Have you defined the UME actions for the desired tables ?

Hi Mark,

I found this description before but I was convinced there is an easier way to make it possible to read table data. Thanks. So I'll create an UME Action.

Hi,

works fine with UME action. And is not as complicated as I thought as creating its own permission class is not necessary but simply using the predefined class DataBrowserPermission.
