PI 7.3 Single Stack-Archiving Mechanism

Hi All,

We are using PI 7.3 Java Only stack.

we are in the design process for archiving messages in dev/qa/prod environments.

I am thinking of considering archiving after every 30 days and deleting archived messages after 90 days.

My doubt is can this be applicable to errored messages also? or all messages?

Can we include synchronous messages in the regualr archiving mechanism or do we need to take extra steps to take care of synchronous messages.??

I had searched but got links only for PI 7.1 versions.

Can you guys suggest me any good links/blogs on howbest can we achive this.

it should not work for error messages as you need to take care of them first (so only after you restart or cancel them you should be able to remove them) - of course there are ways to remove those with errors too but you should stick to the standard archive/delete procedures

same here - sync messages are not being logged on test/prd so only errors - and here we have the same thing AFAIK as with async
