'CALL_FUNCTION_NO_GUI_BUFFER' & 'POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT'

Hi Experts,

Our developers raise a concern that they are unable to commit IDOC program in DEV system, getting SAPGUI buffer error and each time below two dumps are generating. Same program they are able to run in QA system without any issue. Please suggest.

- CALL_FUNCTION_NO_GUI_BUFFER

- POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT

Hello,

the reason for that dump is most probably  POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT.

This is explained in SAP note #1628406 and can be resolved by using the

mentioned kernel patch.

In SAP note........

Prerequisites:

The kernel of the relevant system has a patch level

higher than:

4.6D:

2564

6.40:  362

7.00:  287

7.01:  128

7.10:  233

7.11:  119

7.20:  

78

and lower than the patch level that is specified on the 'SP Patch

Level' tab page.

But we already on 7.00 patch level 291.

if should go to SP Patchlevel, for 7.00 release,you need to apply SP319.
