I have maintained external number range for one of the travel schemas but when i am logging into ess there is no option to put trip number rather it is giving error that enter a trip number.
As per reply via OSS, external number range is NOT recommended as best practise (particularly for trip schema PL) and note 62077 explains the buffering process and trip assignment from the number range.
