Deactivation of RE Contracts

Hi Experts,

I need to end the tenure of some of active contracts in SAP RE module.

How do I do that? Do I deactivate the contracts? Any specific t-code to deactivate the active contracts in RE?

Hi Shantanu,

It is only possible to deactivate contracts when their not posted yet. If the contracts are posted it is not possible to deactivate them.

Deactivation is possible from within the contract (RECN) and then in the menu choose Real Estate Contract > Activation and Term > Deactivate. It is also possible to do it from the Real Estate Navigator with a right mouse click on the contract.

If you need to end the tenure of the contract, simply change the contract valid to date. Alternatively ideal way is to use Give Notice feature so that you have a record of original end date and actual end date.

Deactivation is not possible as stated by one of our colleague since contract has already been posted to.
