Re-Determine material determination

Hi Gurus,

I have a scenario, where i want to re-determine my material determination based on a custom field.

I know standard sap doesnt allow you to re-determine.

Could anybody suggest any enhancement which has been done to achieve this.

Hi PPIO,

Could you elaborate what kind of routine?  You mean a material det rqmt routine? or any other routine?

I have material A which should ideally change to B, after i enter a z-field.  Now in normal pricing scenarios if we have a z-field enter later we can re-determine pricing using user exit new_pricing_vbap or new_pricing_vbkd.

So i assume a user exit or a function should do the trick rather than a routine in VOFM?

Any ideas?
