When cost is booked to a parent WBS how the wbs budget can be supplemented using the budget in another WBS? The system sowing an error message as exctly the released busget is diff than the distributed one. How to solve?
As per the standard process , we had to upload/Supplement the budget for the top WBS , and that budget amount has to be transferred/distributed to the child WBS and Release accordingly.
first you have to transfer the Budget from lower level wbs to the parent level and than supplement the budget for parent level if required.just try and see if it works.
yes ramakrishna, it is not working. when we take out the required budget from the child WBS where the parent WBS is allocated with cost(wrongly), the distributed budget and released budget contradicts!
