Authorization issue in Permit in IW32

Hi All,

Need some expertise

We have permits in the work order. I have maintained the range in IPMD and they are triggering correctly in QAS

Supervisor 5k-20k

Manager    20k-50k

Director    50k-200k

VP             200k-500k

President  >500k

But the issue is there is no authorization maintained in IW32 for permits - Anybody can approve anything.

How to stop that .

I hope, you created 5 different permits for these.

Use I_SOGEN authorization object for this. Create 5 roles & assign the Permit to each role. Assign that role to users accordingly.

Also, it has been noticed that you opened duplicate thread for this. Please close that.

Can you please tell me the procedure or is there any document or link that you can share regarding linking permits with the user.

You can link the permits through roles to users using authorization object I_SOGEN .

Check with your Basis Consultants on this.
