Issue in opening connection with SAP from service market place

Hello All,

We are using ECC 6.0 on Solaris. We have configured SAPROUTER in our development system and it was working fine. Till last week, we have opened connection from our SAP systems to SAP person to analyse various issues. From yesterday, when we are trying to open a connection to any system from Service market place, we are getting an error:

The remote function call library returned the following error message:

SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=20 > connect to SAP gateway failed

I tried stopping and starting saprouter, but still facing the same error.

dev_rout file is having the following error:

Can some one please help with resolving this error, as I have to open connection to SAP urgently for SAP person to check an issue related to HR.

Do you see any other service using this port 3299. If yes remove that

You may check /etc/services files for such entries.

Hello Deepak,

Thanks for the reply.

Issue got resolved today, it was due to wrong entry for SAP router IP being added in service connector file while opening connection. I manually corrected the file and ran the same, and issue got resolved.

Dear Bijoy,

we are also facing same issue,

Could you please give me more details we we can find the service connector file and what modification we have to take.

Our OS environment is : SUSE linux
