i guess SAP support would be the appropriate entity to answer this question of yours...what slight hint I have about this is integration of SAP systems to GIS using GBC (GIS business connector) is now discouraged and SAP is running something called as a <b>Project Sagres</b> ...the following blog was posted in Oct 2006.
