Project System - BOM

Hi All,

I would like to know if we can edit the BOM material quantity in the material component. The BOM has exploded and now the user wants to change the quantity in the main material.

But the field is greyed out. Kindly let me know if it is possible in standard or enhancement to make it editable.

if you have already transfered BOM to project activity than change the BOM component and then again transfer this to same location (Network activity).

Hi Somanna,

I take "BOM has exploded" as CN33(Bill of material Transfer) trasaction. It is only facility to transfer BOM across entire project .(Network activitties)

Main material relevance is lost once uploaded to project already, you have to change individual material qty manually in Project .

If project is not released already , or alternatively , change BOM & reload CN33 tcode.
