Mixed Material in a storage Bin

HI,

As per Clients requirement , they need mixed materials both in Bulk storage types and Racking system.

!.) Bulk storage type : we maintained Mixed storage "A" expecting the full utilisation of bin with different material as on they come. To our surprise new material is choosing the empty bin rather then half filled Bin

E.g : Bin (X100) has a capacity to store 8 pallets . ABC material occpied foru pallets , as per expectation BCD material should occupy other four pallets but that's not the case. when we move stock manually, system is allowing to store material BDC in X100. Please let me know the best process to fix this issue.

2.) Rack system : Customer requirement is to store atleast 4 mixed material in a storage bin , DO let me know what are the seetings required for this situation .Good part of it is these materials would never exceed storage bin space.

Any help in this issues would be greatly appreciated and rewarded

Use the mixed storage = 'X'  and test the scenario to see if it works for you.

That doesn't work, neither with bulk or rack system ?

when you create a  TO then you have the ability to check the bin determination log. via the envrionment menu.

Can you post what you see there.
