Open TR after TO has been canceled

When the process order is created it is generating a TR and then creating the TO based off of the TR. The problem is that if not all of the product is used the warehouse team will go in via LT12 and confirm the items internally to "complete" the TO but it leave the TR open with the amount that was canceled. If the final confirmation is canceled by the production team it restages the WM items based off of the open TR. Is there a way to have a process of closing the TR other than clicking the close TR on LT12 or manually closing the requirements? Business would like the system to close TR's for the order after final confirmation.

Hi Neil,

you can't able to delete the open TR, but you have one option provided by SAP using ware house activity monitor, you can get the open TR till date. using that you can change the status to complete.

You can use Warehouse activity monitor - LL01 (provided '02' open TR object is activated for the Warehouse) to mark open TR as 'TR status delivery complete', in mass. By doing so, the TR will no longer appear to be open.

We are not trying to delete the TR, but to complete it. I was just looking for a way when possibly doing the final confirmation that we could trigger the TR to be completed as well when it releases the reservation or something to that nature. The proposal that I have given was to use LT12 and click close TR on the outside when they are entering their data since they are already using this to complete the open TO's. Any other suggestions?

Hello Neil,

There is another option to close the TR automatically at the time of TO confirmation.

Create difference indicator “E” = ‘Short pick with TR close’  in WMS configuration as below

Go to OMLX transaction code ------->Select difference Indicator tab ------>create new entry of warehouse with below details

-Difference indicator “E” – short pick with TR close

-Storage type 999, or whatever your current requirement is

-Difference storage bin same as transfer order as flagged

-Update TR= 1 = Do not update TR.

Whenever, TO line items with short pick is to be confirmed use difference indicator =E

This will make sure to close the line item commitment of TR automatically for short pick item.
